Mark Kamins est une légende de la house music avant que celle - ci ne soit née ! En effet, il a produit depuis plus de 30 ans des artistes qui font partis aujourd'hui de la culture populaire : Madonna (pour son 1er single "everybody"), David Byrne (Talking Heads), Ofra Haza, The Beastie boys, Sinead O Connor, UB 40 ou encore Quando Quango. Il a remixé des artistes fondamentaux tels que Quando Quango (encore ! avec le génial Love Tempo ou Atom Rock, toujours joué par les djs les plus hype sur la planète), Modern English, Madness ("Our House"), Bow Wow Wow, Danny Elfman (futur compositeur de B.O. pour Tim Burton), Book Of Love, Fine young Cannibals ou encore Kim Wilde (!). Il a joué dans plus de 25 pays & il est aussi le 1er dj U.S. à avoir joué dans l'ex union Soviétique. Aujourd'hui, Mark a crée Pow Wow Records (une division de Island Records), spécialisé dans le reggae & les remixes. De plus, il vient d'ouvrir un studio d'enregistrement avec le producteur bresilien Tuta Aquino. Sa prochaine release sera tout simplement une compilation de ses meilleurs remixes qui sortira sur le label de son meilleur ami, le fabuleux Seymour Stein, createur de SIRE RECORDS. Electro / Cosmic Disco. En compagnie de son ami HARDROCK STRIKER, l’homme derrière Skylax Records & Cosmic Club, véritable roi du re-edit italo-disco (à checker sur SKYLAX RCDS son fabuleux remix de Fockewulf 190 « Body Heat » , légendaire italo band from the 80’s ainsi que ses Re-edits / Rxes sur Cosmic Club Mastercuts dont le dernier en date Brand Image « Are you lovin’ » est une veritable tuerie !) et précurseur de l’electro-rock (cf les inrocks pour la release de la 1st SKYLAX CD compilation), plébiscité par la crème de djs internationaux (Prins Thomas, Lindstrom, DFA, Ivan Smagghe, Mandy, Dj T, Dixon…) et créateurs des soirées : KICK OUT THE 12’S, COSMIC CLUB, SKYLAX PARTY, HACIENDAZED. Il sera là ce soir pour encadrer cette soirée exceptionelle et nous livrera un set explosif comme à son habitude.

Electrique / Death Metal / Club. Hailing from the island of Great Britain (like the world's best musicians), Patrick Michael & James Murphy moved to the island of Manhattan in the summer of 2001 to form a band. As fate would have it the drummer of said band hailed from a tiny country know as Belgium - famous for chocolates, beer and a little band called Soulwax (at the time they were on hiatus as the dijing duo '2 many Djs', due to their drummer being on a 5 year breaj n New York). The two became friends. The Belgian guy thaught the English guy to spin records and soo they were playing death metal-rock-electro-rave-disco-crazy-metal-ass dj sets all over Manhattan. After a while Soulwax were ready to record a new album, the Belgian guy returned to his own planet, tears were shed. Out of the ashes arose ; RKID. Since that time RKID has played all over North America and Europe, with the likes of Klaxons, Justice, Riton, The Libertines, Steve Aokie, Soulwax/2 Many Djs (durrr!), Bjork, Mark Bell (LFO) and anyone else who would listen... Big clubs, small ass dirty bars - wherever kids want to dance ! Stay tuned...
